If you are currently using the Simple Ads Manager, you can migrate its data and settings in the SAM Pro or SAM Pro Lite.
Deactivate the plugin Simple Ads Manager. Before you deactivate the plugin, make sure that these checkboxes are turned off.
Install and activate the plugin SAM Pro or SAM Pro Lite. Then navigate to the plugin’s Tools page.
The data structure of plugin Simple Ads Manager is different from the data structure of plugins SAM Pro and SAM Pro Lite, thus you need to use this tool for safe migration of data.
If you have the freshly installed copy of plugin, just click button “Migrate Data“.
Thats all.

I tried this – did not work. No Ads appearing in the ads list, although there is data in the sampro ads table. What else needs to be done to make this work?
No response to this question? I’m terrified of migrating my Simple Ads Manager plugin to SAM… I cannot afford to lose all the work that’s been done on my client’s site! Has ANYBODY successfully completed this migration?
Still no response? Has anyone successfully migrated from Simple Ads Manager to SAM (Pro or Lite)?
Does this plugin have any support at all?
Inquiring minds need to know.
So… It appears that I’ve successfully migrated Simple Ads Manager data (ads and places) to SAM. I can see ads and places in the Dashboard and it appears that ads are correctly associated with their places… BUT… on the front end, the places are gray rectangles and NO ADS SHOWING ANYWHERE.
What to do? Anyone? Anyone?
